Kara Townsend: Housing Manager
Kara travels around NWA, meeting with property managers, landlords, and other community members to ensure our new neighbors have a safe and comfortable place to call home in NWA.
"I'm an Arkansas girl, born and raised. I was born in Little Rock and have spent the last 20 years in NWA. I love Fayetteville and plan to spend the rest of my life here with my family." Kara has been married for 15 years and has 5 sons (ages 13,12, 9,7, and 5). "We are a sports-loving family, and most days can be found either at the ballpark, ice rink, or soccer field."
"I am a major foodie," she says. Kara loves to try new places and cuisines. She also loves music, movies, plays, and museums. "My husband and I have spent a lot of years in NWA and, as a result, have made lifelong friends that have grown up right along with us." Her family loves to host game nights and family dinners and says "Our home is full of beautiful chaos and that is how we like it." "I'm a pretty simple person with simple pleasures - good food, good company, and a peaceful life with my family are all I really need.”
